first haircut

Davy's cute little duck curls are gone now. My dad said that we should just call him butch now because he is not baby Davy without the curls. He was pretty good some of the time, if we could distract him long enough. We went to the local hair school and the little girl that was assigned to cut his hair was at a loss. She had to have the instuctor come over and do the whole haircut. The progression eas pretty much just as the pictures go. Two year old first haircuts are such a joy!!

Christmas party

We went to my family Christmas party today. Of course, we couldn't get Davy to sit on Santa's lap, but he was very intrigued by him. Big Davy was recruited to be a fairy elf for Santa which was really funny.

First winter storm

Davy was so excited to play in the snow. We hardly had time to get his boots on. He loved to throw snowballs at us. He would laugh and laugh. He then realized that it could be eaten and that is what snow is for now.

A winter day at the zoo

We decided to go to the zoo on the first real snow storm of the year. It is actually a really good time to go because there is no one there! The animals are all really active. Davy's favorite part this time was the reptile house.
