Happy Birthday Davy!!

Davy turned three on the 19th. We went to the zoo and had a party with grandma's and grandpa's when we got home. Davy got a fishing pole set, a Diego backpack, clothes and the hit of the party... a toot maker. Boys of all ages think that tooting is super awesome.

Baby Cedar is here!!!

Baby Cedar is finally here. She came very quickly and is doing wonderful. She is is so cute and so far a good baby! Little Davy was so excited to see his little sister Cedar. he laughed and hugged her the whole time that he was here. It was like Christmas all over again for him.

Cutest face in the whole world

Davy is such a nerd! This face is his "cutest face in the whole world" face. You will see this face again and again in my pictures. I do think it is quite adorable though!

Christmas Is Here!!

We went and got a Christmas tree yesterday. I found a guy that was selling a charlie brown tree for ten bucks on KSL. We really love trees that are not-so-perfect. Anyway, Davy was so excited when we got it home that he yelled "yeah christmas is here" I didn't think that he would be so excited this year. It is really fun.

It's a girl!!

We went for our ultra sound last week and it is officially a little girl. We are so excited!! Little Davy is in denial that we are having a baby. I was holding a friends baby at a party yesterday and Davy said" Put it down" We are in trouble...

Halloween pumpkin fun

We went and found our pumpkins for the year. Davy had a great time picking out his pumpkin. We painted them for family night. It was of course a huge mess!!

Duck Hunting

Davy decided that little D was at long last old enough for his first duck hunting trip. Davy went and bought Little D his very own camo coat and hat. Little D was very excited to go and "Shoot baby ducks in thier house" Mom was invited to take pictures. When we got to the "ducks house" we told little D that you have to be very quiet when you re duck hunting. Throughout the whole half hour that we were there, he kept whispering " you have to be quiet" It was very cute. I think that Little D thinks that duck hunting is walking around in the cold and the weeds with dad. We didn't see a single duck. It could have been because we went at like 10:00 am with a toddler...

We then went for the traditional after shooting ducks breakfast. It was really yummy!!

Key hole

Over the summer we went down to Saint George to Zions to go canyoneering. We went with Brook and Jeff, Devin and Tiffanie, and my cousin Stephanie and her boyfriend Slade. We went to a slot canyon called Keyhole. It was a lot of fun, if you haven't done it before, you should do it. We had a lot of fun.

New Years

We went to Joe and Jeri's for New Years Eve. We all got too tired and went home before midnight. We then decided that we were lame and needed to stay up until midnight. Here is our hoppin' family party at midnight. Do you think that little D is destined to be an alcoholic? I DO !!! He wouldn't leave the sparkling cider alone. I think he drank half of the bottle himself!

first haircut

Davy's cute little duck curls are gone now. My dad said that we should just call him butch now because he is not baby Davy without the curls. He was pretty good some of the time, if we could distract him long enough. We went to the local hair school and the little girl that was assigned to cut his hair was at a loss. She had to have the instuctor come over and do the whole haircut. The progression eas pretty much just as the pictures go. Two year old first haircuts are such a joy!!
